These terms govern your use of Galactic Kongress, operated by [Legal Entity Name] (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, connecting a wallet, or playing as a guest, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

Galactic Kongress is a browser game with an associated card deck builder, card catalog, and store. You can play free without an account (as a guest) or create a real account for persistent progress. Everything about gameplay and deck building is free — nothing existing is paywalled by the features described below.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the service and, if applicable, to make purchases.

3. Accounts and guest play

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Guest progress is tied to a token stored in your browser and isn't guaranteed to persist if you clear cookies, switch browsers, or switch devices — create a real account if you want your progress to be durable.

4. $MNDK virtual currency

$MNDK (“Monadoken”) is an in-app virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. It is not a cryptocurrency, security, or financial instrument, exists only inside Galactic Kongress, and cannot be transferred to another user, redeemed for cash, exchanged for any other currency, or used outside the app.
You purchase $MNDK with real money via our payment processor (Stripe).
$MNDK purchases and booster-pack purchases are final. Except where required by applicable law, we don't offer refunds for completed purchases or for the outcome of a booster pack you've opened.
We may adjust $MNDK pricing, bundle sizes, or pack contents/odds at any time. Current odds for any pack on sale are always published at /store/odds.
We may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate $MNDK accounts used for fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms, without a refund.

5. Kongress Members NFTs and founding-member status

The Kongress Members Travel Capsule NFT collection is a separate, independently operated collection bought and sold on third-party marketplaces (currently Rarible) — we do not mint, sell, or control its price, and owning one is not an investment in Galactic Kongress. We only read public on-chain ownership to grant “founding member” perks (currently: access to card authoring and a creator stats dashboard) to wallets holding one. We may change what perks are tied to holding this collection, and we aren't responsible for the collection's availability, price, or continued existence on any marketplace.

6. Cards you create

If you're a founding member or admin and author a card (art, name, narrative, and game-mechanical stats), you keep ownership of what you create, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it as part of the shared card catalog and in booster packs. You confirm you have the rights to anything you submit (including any art) and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We can remove any card at our discretion, including for violating these terms.

We currently track how often your cards are pulled from packs for your own visibility (your Creator Dashboard) but do not yet pay out any share of pack revenue to creators — see the compliance note in our internal business plan if you want the full roadmap on this.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate game state, scores, or the $MNDK economy.
Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service beyond normal use (see our published rate limits).
Upload or submit content you don't have the rights to, or that's illegal, hateful, or infringing.
Buy, sell, or transfer accounts or $MNDK outside the app.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular booster pack will contain a card of a given rarity beyond the published odds.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, [Legal Entity Name] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
